This is a full size set of African
Blackwood Highland Bagpipes by R.G. Lawrie with silver and
imitation ivory mounts. I bought this set new in Canada in
1957/58 and used them regularly for 2 years. After relocating
to the USA I only played them occassionally. The unaltered
chanter and drones are in perfect condition, the only
imperfection is the cracked (lengthwise) blowpipe which has
been properly repaired with a valve and a stainless steel tube
insert. A new bag was professionally installed years ago and
still seems serviceable. They come with cords, bag cover, and
a hard flat case with compartments for reeds and music. Thanks
